I am using these with the Rally Raid soft luggage rack on a CB500X with Rally Raid Level 3 upgrade. They secure well and can be removed very easily for carrying into a hotel etc. They use quick release buckles to secure everything up once the bag zip is closed. These prevent straining the zip and it bursting open. The dry liners, combined with the fold of top cover, keep everything dry and dust free. These have been through rain, sleet, hail, snow, thunderstorms and a sand storm. It would be nice to have some Molle loops on the back faces to attach pouches and bottles. I will probably fit these myself. These are rough and tough and designed for use and abuse. I have taken them touring in the UK, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Spain, Portugal and Morocco.

I purchased the Siskiyou panniers for my CB500X about 6 weeks ago and have since completed a 7 day 2400km tour of southern BC. Despite the forest fires and smoke we ran into several periods of rain on the trip and the bags performed flawlessly. No water nor dust entry. Easily attached to the Rally Raid side racks with the supplied straps. There was no requirement to use the supplied exhaust shields as there is no interference. Perhaps the best feature is the interior dry bags which made loading and unloading the bike and entry into the motels easy. These are extremely well made bags and I couldn't be happier with the purchase.

I have a 2019 Honda CB500X. The angle of the exhaust pipe is upward and I needed a set of bags that would stay clear of the tailpipe exhaust. After some research I bought the Giant Loop Siskiyou bags. They fit perfectly, and have good clearance away from the tailpipe. They are very well made, and were easy to mount, fit is tight against the racks without any sagging or bouncing around when riding rougher roads. I like the way the bags over lap the seat with Velcro for the right adjustment on the bike. I haven't had the opportunity to pack up for a camping, road trip, but I'm sure the Siskiyou bags are going to work out great for many rides to come.

I've used these bags both rackless and with a small side rack to hold a smaller bag underneath. I can't say enough good things about them. Soft bags are like having pillows on either side of the bag to soften those unexpected landings, and the bags hold up to the abuse, trust me. They are made of extremely durable materials and have a very handy pocket on the front for quick access items. The easy access pocket easily swallows a Nalgene bottle and the pocket doesn't take away from the cubic space of the main compartment. On the underside of the lid to the main compartment there is a zippered mesh pocket for flat items like a beanie, bandanna, maps, etc. which is great for more quick access items. The most important thing for me is the access to the main compartment. You access the bag from the longer/wider side of the bag making it very convenient for access to the bag vs. other brands where you access through the small end of the bag which makes access to items difficult and more likely have to unpack and repack the whole bag to get to something deeper than the middle of the bag. They hold the weight lower than other bags on the market due to the orientation of the bag which leads to better handling of the bike and cleaner lines with the bike aesthetically. That is 70 liters of space, below the seat, so if you added a 30 liter top bag you have 100 liters, cleaner and lower than anyone else on the market. I also like the fact that you can run them with and without the waterproof pods to minimize the fumbling when getting in and out of the bag, but if you need them, they are available and make it handy when transferring items to tent or hotel room. They are fully adjustable to fit a wide variety and size of bikes for a custom fit. Last but not least they are the perfect size to hold a 30 pack of beer in original packaging in one side! I can't think of a better bag for long distance travel on a bike whether camping or hoteling.

I purchased the Siskiyou bags for my T7. My bike is equipped with the ADV Spec side plates as I’m not into pannier racks. I was looking for a top loading bag system with reasonable capacity. Many of the features are already posted above but what I noticed is the well thought out design and QUALITY of the material and WORKMANSHIP pertaining to the assembly and stitching. Also some notables are the wide Velcro supportive flaps instead of two 1 1/2” straps, that at times, let some bags sag along the top support area. I’m not a fan of square saddle bags so appreciate the upswept bottom which blends into T7 exhaust angle. For me it’s the main features, materials, and also the small details of motorcycle products that I will spend my money on
