After purchasing a couple different pannier racks for my Ducati Scrambler Icon, and both times being very disappointed in fit and compatibility, I am happy to say that I discovered Giant Loop while looking for other luggage solutions. My new GL Great Basin Saddlebag fits beautifully, is very secure, and I know that I’ll be enjoying many miles with this rock solid setup. My advice, skip the rest, and buy a quality setup from Giant Loop.

I got into adventure riding about 2 years ago and have been really taking my time to see what company offered the PERFECT solution for off road riding. I do a lot of technical and challenging rides on my 2018 Africa Twin. I had tried “another” company and ended up breaking both products I’d purchased literally after the first ride they went on. Now heading out on the WABDR this coming June (2021) I knew I needed to find the right gear that can handle the wet winters of the PNW, as well as the scorching summers on the Eastern side of Washington state. Enter the Great Basin! I’m a very technical minded person and have found something I don’t like with all the other major ADV brands out there. There’s not one thing I would change about my Great Basin bag. It’s made of bomber materials, superbly crafted in the United States and is great looking to boot. I am truly proud to have this gear attached to my bike, and it gets a lot of questions and thumbs up from other riders and cagers as well. Needless to say, my whole bike is kitted out in GL products. Customer for life here.

The people at Giant Loop have made the best product on the market in my opinion. The motto of Go Light, Go Fast, Go Far, is really appropriate. I ride an Africa Twin, which is far from a light ADV bike, but i use it on single track trails regularly. Keeping weight down is obviously paramount, but also having something that will take the abuse of repeated drops, and pushing through trees. The mounting is perfect, it stays in place even on rutted out 40+mph rides, and the integration of other products was extremely well thought out. You folks truly have a customer for life. My riding partners are a bit envious to say the least, as they spent considerably more, for a heavier product, that was made in other places than the good ol US of A. I hope to make a trip to Bend for some riding and a visit sometime this year. Thank you for making the best gear on the planet!

The CONCEPT, design and execution is brilliant. The horseshoe shape distributes the load so it's not ripping itself apart.

So far I own Great Basin, MoJavi, Klamath, GL tail rack, BuckinRoll, 12 pronghorns, first aid possible, and two zigzags. Striving for strategic & substantial success; I splurged for symmetrical, synergistic, and sumptuously svelte storage solutions. I have a Honda crf250L rally and all of this gear fits & works perfectly. I use the Mojave for daytrippin’, & the Great Basin for longer excursions. I watched most of the Giant Loop vids on YouTube so I knew how to install everything when it arrived. Gravy! I got my moneys worth and more. Excellent quality. Fast shipping. Great value. Thanks Giant Loop for making my life easier!
