Quality not quite there with bottom dispenser. There are multiple points of possible failure on the bottom dispenser, mine failed where the bag welds to the spout on my 2nd trip. This may have been a result of how it was secured, but there is no warnings or guidance provided that states to not have the canteen secured where the contents is under pressure. Or, mine was defective. Regardless, the price for using this product on 2 trips was not the value I was looking for. I was offered a reduced price on a replacement, but will test out alternate solutions rather than spending more $$ on a system that didn't hold up for me.
Really love it that we can still buy canteens in trusty gallons. All the knock-off brands are in liters and that's just not right
Works as advertised high quality
I didn't even get out of the garage with the product. It leaks at the point the drain tub connects to the bladder. It has been very difficult getting ahold of support because I bought it one month before actually using it.
I love the Cactus Canteen! I had 2 and they worked so well I bought 2 more. I haven’t used them on a my motorcycle yet but in my kayak on multi day river trips. Last time I rung a branch from a tree limb and hooked the back up with a carabiner and used it for a shower. They are very durable, have multiple places to tie them down and the nozzle is safely zipped away in a little pocket until it’s needed. I’ve seen many different types of dromedary bags and these are the best!
